Laurea University of Applied Sciences is a university of applied sciences that operates in the region of Uusimaa, Finland. Laurea University of Applied Sciences operates on seven campuses in the Greater Helsinki region in Finland. Studying in Laurea is practically oriented and different kinds of projects with working life affiliates are an important part of studies. Laurea offers six Bachelors Degree programmes in English and two Masters Degree programmes in English. Education in Laurea University of Applied Sciences is based on the Learning by Developing (LbD) operational model. Laurea has approximately 7,800 students and employs approximately 500 personnel. Laureas fields of expertise in RDI activities focus on expertise in nursing work and coping at home, service business activities, security and social responsibility, as well as entrepreneurship and innovations.
