Leibniz University of Hanover

Leibniz University of Hanover was established in 1831 in Hannover, Germany as a public University. It is one of the largest and Oldest Science and Technology University in Germany. The University was named after the great mathematician and philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and contains more than 22,236 students out of which 3,138 are from foreign countries. The University is a part of Niedersachsen Institutes of Technology (NTH) and active member of many associations such as TU9, an association of the nine leading Institutes of Technology in Germany and Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER), a non-profit association of leading engineering universities in Europe. The university also sponsors the German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB), the largest science and technology library in the world.
