Miguel Torga Institute

In 1937, the Miguel Torga Institute of Higher Education (ISMT) was established in Portugal. This institute is located in Coimbra and was founded in 1936 on the initiative of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Mary, with the support of Professor Bissaya Barreto, President of the Board of the Province of Beira Litoral. Currently, Carlos Amaral Dias is the director of the institution that has about 30 employees, 100 Teachers / Employees and 1400 students. The ISMT minister degree courses, Masters, PhD, Graduate and technological specialization. The ISMT is an associate member of the Portuguese Association of Private Higher Education (APESP), which is an association of non-state higher education institutions.
