The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh was established in 2010 with the aim as centres of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need of technological professionals in India as well as in the World. NIT Arunachal Pradesh has been ranked 19th among the 31 NITs. Our mission is that of producing such Technical Engineers who will not run after jobs , but for whom jobs will run after them, and such that they will create employment and develop new technologies for a faster, sustainable and inclusive growth. NIT Arunachal offers undergraduate programs in engineering Department of Basic & Applied Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering Civil Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. The institute has about 50 faculty members and around 500 enrolled students. More than 600 students on roll and many distinguished members of faculty as well as a good many numbers of competent administrative personnels.
