North American University (NAU) is a small university located in Houston, Texas. It is formerly known as North American College, which was operated by the Texas Gulf Foundation (TGF), a non-profit educational organization founded on 2007, and located in Houston, Texas. In 2013, North American College has been renamed as North American University. The main motto of the TGF was to establish superior higher education institutions and established the Texas Gulf Institute (TGI) and the Gulf Language School. These institutes have been started in 2007. The University provides Bachelor and Master degrees by THECB and ACICS. North American University is accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Gulf Language School at North American University is accredited by Commission on English Language Program Accreditation.
North American University offers courses like Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, Master of Science in Computer Science and Master of Education in School Counseling. NAU provides financial aid to qualified students, in the form of federal grants, institutional scholarships, and loans.
