Osaka Prefectural Institute of Public Health

Osaka Prefecture, located at the approximate center of Japan, is divided into 33 cities, 9 towns, and 1 village. The mission of the university is surveys and researches, distribute health-related information, and trains public health workers. Strive to further expand our capacity and efficiency in health crisis management, to become a hub for related organizations and to assist in networking, and to provide residents with easy access to facility. Covering an area of approximately 1,899 square kilometers, or only 0.5% of the nations entire land area. Osaka is the second smallest prefecture. However, it has a population of 8.8 million, or roughly 7% of the entire population, making it the third most populous prefecture after Tokyo and Kanagawa prefectures.
It has many divisions under 3 departments. It was established as a research institute dedicated to the maintenance of health and safety for the people of Osaka Prefecture.
