The PD Patel Institute of Applied Sciences shortly called as PDPIAS is the latest addition to the group of college sin the campus of CHARUSAT University. The institution came into existence in the year 2007 and it is operating with the objective of imparting PG education and to conduct research programmes in different disciplines of applied science like mathematical science, chemical sciences, physical science and bioscience. Several facilities like career services, transportation, sports, student housing, library, lab and computing are offered by the institute to its students. The college offers Master of Science in Biotechnology, Master of Science in Biochemistry and Master of Science in Microbiology course. A number of sponsored research projects are currently in progress and few are in the pipeline. Ph.D. Programmes in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences are offered. PDPIAS has state-of-art well-equipped spacious laboratories and class rooms. Teaching is rendered by highly experienced and qualified faculty. Admission of students to these courses offered by the P D Patel Institute of Applied Sciences is done based on the CHARUSAT M.Sc Entrance Examination shortly called as CMET.
