Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary

Rev. Kim Kwang-hyun is inaugurated. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education to establish the Graduate School of Ministry for the Pastoral Care (STM). Pastor Han Kyung-jik is inaugurated as the 4th President. Dr. Samuel H. Moffett is inaugurated in the Cooperative Dean. Dr. Lee Jong - seong is inaugurated in the 10th Dean. Dr. Yong Seung, who is a graduate student, is appointed as honorary dean at the same time of retirement. Completion of a female student residence with the support of Mrs. Ruth Shattuck of the United States. The 3 rd president, Pastor Pil Sun Soon is inaugurated. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education to establish the "Graduate School of the Korean Presbyterian Theological Seminary." Completion of the Moffett Hall and library with the first Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma, USA. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Department of Theology (Theology Major, Christian Education Major). Establishment of the Department of Divinity (M. Div.) With the qualification of university graduates. Pastor Kim Seok-jin is inaugurated. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Education, and "Theological College of Korean Presbyterian Church." The following institutes are affiliated with Presbyterian college and Theological Seminary Institute of Church and Society Through research on various social issues of politics, economy, culture, and welfare. The institute finds solutions from a theological perpsective, then presents ethical and cultural alternatives. Institute for the Study of Church Music The purpose of this institute is to study various practical issues arising in the life of ministry (customs and traditions, preaching, counseling and etc), and to seek the development of church music through academic analysis and leadership training. The ultimate goal of the institute is to contribute to the development of the Korean church and its ministry. Institute of Church and Communication This institute is composed of Church and Communication Research Center, and Preaching Clinic Center. The purpose of this institute is to contribute to the development of the Korean church through various researches on worship, proclamation of the Gospel, and effective communication skills. Christian Education Research Institute The purpose of this institute is to contribute to the vitality of church education and leadership training, and to publish and distribute materials and resources related to Christian education. Institute for the Study of Christian Thought The institute seeks to contribute to the Korean church society, as well as the church and humanity of the greater world through the study of Christian thought. Institute of Counseling Ministry The purpose of this institute is to examine current developments and issues in family life related to ministry. It offers various seminars, with particular attention given to theological understanding of humanity, church, and society. And the remaining institutes are Institute of Biblical Studies, Institute of Holy Land Studies, Korean Institute of the Bible & Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem (KHLS), Center for World Mission, Institute of History and Ecumenics, Institute of Korean Church History.
