The group Quirón Salud is currently studying to open a hospital in the well-known fifth tower, the skyscraper Villar Mir project north of the Paseo de la Castellana on the grounds of the former Sports City of Real Madrid. That step would allow the company headed by Juan Miguel Villar Mir to raise that emblematic building. Now, the relief can come from the hands of Quirón Salud, the main private hospital group in Spain, emerged after the merger of IDC Salud (formerly Capio) and Chiron, which shuffles the project, according to company sources yesterday. The company has 70 health centers, including the Jiménez Díaz Foundation, as well as managing several public hospitals in Madrid, and have prestigious clinics such as La Luz, San José, Ruber, Teknon and Dexeus, among others in Barcelona. The company did not confirm yesterday what kind of center or facilities it is studying open in the tower. Quirónsalud is Spain’s leading provider of health services. Although ours is a young brand—born of the merger between idcsalud and Quirón—we have over 60 years of experience caring for people’s health and well-being.
