Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology is established in the year 1991 by Dr. Saeid Kazemi Ashtiani as a research institute for Reproductive Biomedicine and infertility treatments. The Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology is known for its Stem Cell research and infertility treatment.It has a team of 46 scientific members and 186 lab technicians working for three institutes of research namely: 1) Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology (RI-SCBT) 2) Royan Institute for Reproductive Biomedicine (RI-RB) 3) Royan Institute for Animal Biotechnology (RI-AB) Royan institute for Stem Cell Biology also organizes in reproductive biomedicine ,molecular systems biology,Polyclonal antibodies production. Some of the recently organized workshops are listed below: Royan Institute for Reproductive Biomedicine held a workshop on Safety Principles and Applicable, Strategic Equipment in Research Laboratories on August 21st, 2014. The Molecular Systems Biology research group of Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology organized a thoretical practical workshop on western blotting on August 21st and 22nd, 2014 Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology set up a workshop on Polyclonal Antibodies Production on August 20th and 21st, 2014 by Molecular Systems Biology research group. Inorder to bring together scientists , all around the world and provide a forum for an in-depth discussion on their ongoing projects and a platform for new ideas, exciting presentations and inspiring discussions on a wide range of basic and applied research topics organized 15th Congress on Reproductive Biomedicine and 10th Congress on Stem Cell Biology and Technology on September 3-5, 2013. Royan Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology also publishes journals called “Cell journal” and International Journal of Fertility & Sterility (IJFS) Royan institute announced to submit projects for 16th International research award - 2015in the fields of reproductive medicine & Stem cell.
