The Department of Software and Data Engineering (G222) under TÜBðTAK BðLGEM UEKAE has been structured as a research institute of Software Technologies affiliated to TÜBðTAK-BðLGEM. G222 Unit, which started to work under TÜBðTAK-UEKAE Design and Development Engineering Department in 2005, was reorganized as Software and Data Engineering Department under TÜBðTAK-BðLGEM-UEKAE in 2010. In 2012, TÜBðTAK-BðLGEM-UEKAE, and it has been transformed into an institute named Research Institute of Software Technologies (YTE) affiliated to TUBITAK-BðLGEM. Since its inception, it has been providing digital transformation and R & D comprehensive information services. The Research Institute for Software Technologies (YTE) is a permanent institutional goal that aims to provide inspiration, motivation and operation of the institution in this direction by presenting its corporate vision and goals in a transparent manner, focusing on customer and end user satisfaction. Has a quality management system that progresses according to project-specific defined processes. The YTE Quality Management System was developed and modelled in accordance with ISO 27001, ISO 9001: 2008, AQAP 2110, AQAP 2130, AQAP- 160, Project Management Institute (PMI) Practices and CMMI Level 5 requirements. With this system, in 2008, YTE maintains its first position in the public sector by strengthening CMMI Level 3 Process Maturity Level applications with CMMI Level 4 in 2014 and CMMI Level 5 High Maturity in 2017 and continues to be the first public institution to be documented in this sector. It is a permanent institutional goal that aims to provide inspiration, motivation and operation of the institution goals in a transparent manner, focusing on customer. It conducts AR-GE activities within the scope determined primarily by analysing technology / trend ecosystem maps and performing benefit / cost analyses on related development areas in the R & D areas included in the top level strategy and policy documents of the Institutes service sector. This Institute provides the necessary knowledge and experiences in the field of IT and e-commerce. Model Development (Technique, standard, guidelines) and acquiring competence with the guidance of various mechanisms. Determines the needs of institutions and organizations in the light of determinations obtained by current situation analysis, performs Needs Analysis, and creates targets and strategies within the scope of target situation determination.
