SNF Foundation was established as Swedish Nutrition Research in 1961 with the overall aim of promoting nutrition research and its practical applications. SNF is a non-profit organization since 2001, which works in the field of nutrition research and food industry.
The SNFs network includes leading researchers in the field of nutrition at Swedish universities. Member companies represent all parts and all stages of the food chain. Integrity and impartiality in relation to the commercial interests of research, is a fundamental prerequisite for SNF operations. The Board has adopted guidelines for the operations to safeguard the integrity. The Swedish Nutrition Foundation is offering scholarships to all doctorate students in Sweden. The scholarship consists of 560 euro paid each month for 1 year. Aim of the SNF is to facilitate the use of nutrition and health claims, in a responsible and balanced manner. Contribute to a maintained high consumer confidence for food and the food sector.
