Swiss Finance Institute was formed in the year 2005 with the capital of 75 million Swiss francs. It was formed with the sole aim of carrying research works in the areas of banking and finance. Since the Switzerland has become leading hub of finance affairs the Swiss Bankers Association has decided to invest in the creation of the Swiss Finance Institute and founded it with the great ambitions to house a world-leading research and training center in banking and finance. It is formed from the integration of 3 institutes: the International Center for Financial Asset Management and Engineering (FAME) in Geneva, the Swiss Banking School in Zurich and the Stiftung Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. It is a finest Swiss university attracting leading minds, professors and doctoral students to form Switzerland’s largest finance research group. Academic wise it is a leading university with the vast database and nearly 50 well expertise professors and lecturers at its disposal.
