Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research is also known as ISREC founded in the year 1964. It is located in Switzerland, founded with the sole aim to seek and provide resources for the support of translational cancer research projects and the training of young scientists. Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research was merged with School of Life Sciences at EPFL and it is non-profit organization working towards the projects oriented for fundamental cancer research. The Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research has been conducting the research works since last 40 years. It is an independent institute, devoted to cancer related basic research enabling the coming generation to deal with the disease more effectively. Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research provides an excellent facilities and infrastructure to carry out the research work. Some of the core facilities are BIOINFORMATICS AND BIOSTATISTICS CORE FACILITY, BIOIMAGING AND OPTICS PLATFORM, BIO EM FACILITY, BIOMOLECULAR SCREENING FACILITY and many more. Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research receives the funds to carry out the research work as “Funding-Support talents and innovation”. Since 1964, more than 2,000 articles are published by ISREC researchers in various notable and reputed, high quality scientific journals.
