The Institute of Advanced Materials is a technical research institute. It is affliated from public university of Navarra. This university is located in the Arrosadía of Pamplona. José Ignacio Pérez de Landazábal IS Professor of this university. He have more capability to generate knowledge and develop technologies in the field of advanced materials. The application of his work will be on approaches created on synthesis, research of new materials and on the study of its belongings in macroscopic dimensions, thin films and nanometric arrangements. These are actions that fit exactly into one of the priority areas of specialty of the Campus Iberus (Materials and Technology for Quality of Life), in addition to in the modern plan itself. Within each of them, develops specific lines of work. Specifically, in the area of dynamism, the lines of exploration focus on magnetic materials and electromagnetic strategies, materials for new fuels and the economy of hydrogen. The range of health limits its lines of exploration to biofilms and the growth of materials for the synthesis of drugs. Finally, within the environmental area, research lines will work on chemical sensors and sustainable industrial processes. This institute have 38 researchers with an extensive trajectory. In this institute 71 academic staff, Honorary Professor 17, Adjunct Professor 25, 99 publications. This institute is participated in 12 Conferences from 2014 to 2017. The president leader in Institute of Advanced Materials is “HUANG Wei”. He is also eminent scientist of organic optoelectronics. He acted as a chair professor The Service Program of Global Talents" and the "Cheung Kong Scholars Program", Leader of the "National Unresolved Youth Fund", Chief Scientist of "The National 973 Databases" and he is the doctor of the University of Sheffield and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
