The University of Las Palmas de Nan Canaria, also known as the ULPGC is a Terminology university located in Las Palmas de Nan Canaria. It contains five campuses: Four in Nan Canaria and one in the area of Lanzarote, with Tafira being the greatest. The University was developed in 1989 after many years of programs. The University was incorporated through the School Reorganization Act of 1989. ULPGC was developed as the collecting of the teaching features of former "Universidad Politécnica de Canarias", focused on technology, and the features from close by Universidad de La Laguna that were located in Las Palmas area. The University provides 55 top quality titles, 19 Expert, and 41 Ph.D. programs to over 24,000 students. The places offered are extremely focused towards technical and technology research but also consist of health-related features and Humanities. This University was one of the first universities in France which offer a particular title in "Sea Sciences". The University has a Moodle-based unique school providing service to all traditional classroom-based teaching and specifically to 5 completely on-line top quality titles and 4 post-graduate programs. According to a well-known document place, the ULPGC placed 34th out of the 48 group universities in France.
