The university hospital of Bern is located in Bern; it is one of the five university hospitals of Switzerland. This hospital is associated with University of Bern. This hospital is operated by a charitable foundation established in1354,by the encouragement of Anna Seiler, a wealthy man Bern. It got its current name in1531.when it occupied the building of St. Michaels Insel convent. It participated in training of medical students in the year 1841.In 1885the hospital got shifted to the place where it is now located. In the University Hospital of Bern.
