The University Hospital of Giessen and Marburg is a German university hospital established at Marburg and Giessen. It is the first private university hospital in Germany and due to merging of two former university hospitals, it has emerged as the third largest hospitals in Germany. More or less 436,000 patients visit at the two destinations Giessen and Marburg every year. The facilities at the hospital include 80 centers, 9,600 employees of different professions- including numerous specialists and nurses, along with laboratory technicians, physical therapists, engineers, computer experts and chefs.
