The University of Dubuque is a college situated in Dubuque, in the U.S. condition of Iowa, with a general participation of roughly 1,600 undergraduates. The school offers both undergraduates and graduate degree programs. It is one of three four-year post-optional establishments in the City of Dubuque, and is usually alluded to as UD.
The school is certify by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the State of Iowa Department of Education The foundation presently known as the University of Dubuque was established by the Rev. Adrian Van Vliet, who was minister of the German Church, now known as the in 1852 to prepare priests to serve the deluge of settlers to the upper Midwest.
