University of Trier is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the suburban setting of the large town of Trier (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Rhineland-Palatinate. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Weiterbildung und Kultur des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz (Ministry of Science, Continuing Education and Culture of Rhineland-Palatinate), Universität Trier is a large (enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universität Trier offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 47 years old H.E. institution has a selective admission policy based on students past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
