Catholic University of Valencia

Catholic University of Valencia was established in 2003 in Valencia, Spain. The main pillars of the Catholic University of Valencia are education, instruction and training. The institution is based on the principles of quality and academic excellence, and on the personalization of education, which is conceived as an all-round experience and which combines scientific and humanistic training with Catholic teachings. On February 4, 2005, the Consell approved the integration of the School of Nursing "Our Lady of the Abandoned" and the Faculty of Business Studies. Thus the Catholic University was organized into five faculties and a college. The March 13, 2007, the Consell of the Valencian Government approved the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine at the Catholic University of Valencia. In this study faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy and Podiatry is framed. The September 18, 2009, the Consell approved the establishment of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law and commissioning of leading to the obtaining of an official degree courses in Biotechnology, Law and Philosophy university education. During the 2007-2008 academic year the university had over 8000 students, compared to approximately 3000 in 2003.
