The University of Viterbo is private, Roman Catholic liberal arts university located in La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. It is founded in 1890, by Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. The university offers 69 undergraduate programs, five graduate degrees, one doctoral degree two associate degree programs. The university is affiliated to AFCU, ACCU, NAICU, CIC, and WAICU. University consists of 2,788 students, 2,103 undergraduates, and 685 postgraduates. The mission of the University is to prepare students for faithful service and ethical leadership. The city named Viterbo located in Italy is the namesake of the University. For today the university is best known for its nursing and theater under graduate programs. In 2013 the university offered the first doctorate program in nursing practice.
