Vicomtech-IK4 is an applied research centre specialising in Computer Graphics, Visual Computing and Multimedia technologies, founded in 2001 and based at San Sebastián Technology Park. Vicomtech-IK4 is one of the few centres that hold both the ISO 9001:2008 and UNE 166002:2014 certificates. This internationally acknowledged certification places it at the leading edge in research quality and is proof of its process quality commitment. All its activities are covered by the innovation management system - continuous improvement and measurement of results, technology innovation process optimisation and knowledge transfer and generation - ensuring it uses the highest quality methods. Vicomtech-IK4 aims to respond to the innovation requirements of companies and institutions. To do this, it Conducts applied research and develops multimedia visual interaction and communications technologies. Complements and closely collaborates with industry, universities and other technology centres. Promotes mobility and training for its researchers. Vicomtech-IK4’s Board of Trustees is currently made up of 19 relevant representative members within its areas of action.
