The von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics is an instructive and logical association which is working in three particular fields: flight and aviation, condition and connected liquid elements, turbo apparatus and drive. The VKI gives training in these particular ranges for understudies from everywhere throughout the world. A hundred understudies go to the Institute every year to study liquid elements, for a PhD program, an exploration ace in Fluid Dynamics, a last year venture and furthermore to assemble facilitate information while doing a work arrangement in a particular territory. Throughout 1955, Professor Theodore von Kármán proposed with his colleagues the foundation of an establishment committed to preparing and research in streamlined features which would be interested in youthful specialists and researchers of the NATO countries. he von Karman Institute organizes each year 8 to 12 one-week Lecture Series on specialized topics in the field of aerodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer with application to aeronautics, space, turbo machinery, the environment and industrial fluid dynamics.
