Voorhees College is associated to Thiruvalluvar college, Vellore It was built up in 1898 It is a minority foundation, set up by the American Arcot Mission of the Reformed Church in America, regulated by a Governing Board with the C.S.I. Priest in Vellore Diocese as the Chairman.
