West Moravian College Trebic, ops are a young and dynamic private regional university. Its mission is to offer quality, professionally oriented bachelors degree with emphasis on employability of graduates in the labour market and at the same time create a basis for the development of other educational and cultural activities in the region in which the college operates since 2003. A team of teachers consists of distinguished academics and practitioners who forms a bridge between education and application spheres. In teaching, the emphasis on individual approach to students, to the maximum development of knowledge, skills, and competencies of each individual and to guide students to take a proactive approach and shared responsibility for the results of its own study. Universities perform around the world from the very beginning of its existence two main functions: training of top specialists and developing scientific research. In the second half of the 20th century, however, in many developed countries changed status of colleges and universities in society. The reason for this change was accelerated societal development and deployment of technologies and processes that are forcing experts to return to university lecture halls for new knowledge. Simultaneously, an increasing portion of society recognizes that ethical, social and general deeply human feelings is one of the determinants of societal development.
