YMCA University of Science and Technology (YMCA UST), formerly YMCA Institute of Engineering (YMCA IE), is a state university located in Faridabad, in the state of Haryana, India. It was established in 1969. National Assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous body funded by the UGC, has accredited the University with A Grade. The university has added new chapters in its glorious history i.e. M.C.A, M.Tech. (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering & Mechanical Engineering), M.Sc. (Physics, Maths, Chemistry & Environmental Sciences), M.A. (Mass Communication and Journalism) and Ph.D. It follows its course curriculum duly approved by the industries and the University. The salient features of German education have been retained & as such the University stands apart from other colleges of Haryana. Admission is preferably through the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), but first class engineering graduates are also considered.
