Yanbu Industrial College is a technical college in Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1989 to achieve the objectives of the Royal Commission, in developing human resources and to provide the Saudi manpower with high technical education and training. The YIC campus is home to five academic departments (faculties) and Educational Supporting Units with qualified and experienced faculty member. Most of the programs offered by these departments are accredited by ETAC of ABET Inc. YIC campus is home to Chemical Engineering Technology, Electrical Power Engineering Technology, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering Technology, Geomatics Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology students, who have access to thoroughly qualified and experienced faculty members. Most of our programs are accredited from top international agency ABET Inc. (formerly Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). The English Language Institute at Yanbu is one of the largest English language training facilities in the Kingdom, and home to a highly-qualified male and female faculty working in four distinct colleges. The English Language Institute received a most prestigious international accreditation from the USA-based CEA (Commission on English Language Program Accreditation) in 2012. Applicable to all its programs, ranging from the Foundation year program to the Associate and Bachelor degree levels, this 5 years accreditation is a first for any English language training institute in the Kingdom. YIC maintains strong relationships with local industry and the professions. Each program offered in the college has PAEC (Program Advisory and Evaluation Committee), compromises of faculty members and experienced members from Industries and employers.
