Yeditepe University Hospital was established on August 26 2005. The hospital not only offers health care and treatment but it also offers educational opportunities to the students of medicine. It is a 190 bedded capacity hospital with automated systems which gives round the clock service to the patients. The hospital has eight operating rooms and reanimation units. The hospital consists of seven general service floors and two VIP floors. The hospital has got Hospital Information system (HIS) software technology, which is mainly utilized to minimize problems experienced by the patients. Because of this system wide range of tests performed on patients like laboratory work, x-rays are computerized and it also reduces paper wastes and saves time. Yeditepe University Hospital has started an Eye center on 17 January 2007. It is providing services in 11 different areas with expert academic staff. The hospital is using the latest technologies to maintain the global competitiveness. The hospital has got 15 examination rooms, four operating rooms and it also started the treatment with laser technology. Yeditepe University Hospital is accredited by JCI.
