YDU may be a non-public university in Zaoqiao administrative division, Miaoli County, Taiwan. YDU was originally established in 1999 as Yu prosecuting officer faculty of Business absolutely funded by Dr. Kwang-Ya Wang and his spouse. Dr. Wang was the president of Yu prosecuting officer highschool of Commerce and residential economic science from 1977 to 2010. In August 2009, the varsity modified its name to Yu prosecuting officer University when the approval of Ministry of Education.
YDU was entirely based and supported by Dr. Kwang-Ya Wang and his spouse in 1999. Dr. Wang came to decide on the field at a scenic village in Chaochiao administrative division, Miaoli County to begin fulfilling his nice aspiration of creating one amongst the foremost exquisite, glorious universities in our country.

Approved by the Ministry of Education on Aug, 2009, the varsity modified its original name “Yu prosecuting officer faculty of Business” to “Yu prosecuting officer University”, that is currently composed of three collegian colleges accommodating sixteen departments and four graduate institutes.
