Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT), the former Zhengzhou Institute of Textile Technology (ZITT), has currently evolved into a multi-disciplinary university focusing on engineering, offering fabric and clothing, promoting coordinated development of such disciplines as engineering, control, liberal arts, sciences, economics and law. Located in Zhengzhou, the capital town of Henan Province, ZUT is composed of 3 campuses: the South Campus, the North Campus, and the West Campus. It completely covers an area of one,460mu, with the gross floor vicinity of 572,000 rectangular km and a picturesque environment. Since its foundation in 1955, ZITT have been supervised by way of the Ministry of Textile Industry till it became transferred to Henan Province in Sept., 1998, according with the precept of âJointly supervised by using Central and Local Authorities, specifically by means of the Local Authoritiesâ. In July, 2000, ZITT became renamed to Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT). Besides, it offers master applications of 8 high-quality disciplines, in addition to of forty one second-class disciplines. Moreover, it launches two grasp professional degrees in the classes of Engineering and Business Administration, inclusive of four spheres of Engineering.
