Namseoul University is a private university located in Cheonan, South Korea. The institution was initially founded as the Southern Seoul Industrial University in 1994 and renamed to Namseoul University in 1998 NSU Centre for Global Cultural Exchanges (CGCE) offers Korean language and culture courses to foreign students and overseas Koreans who seek to improve their proficiency of Korean and enhance their understanding of Korean culture. We also exert much effort in developing Korean language & culture contents and providing foreign students with a variety of cultural activities. The university is concentrated on the development of skilled manpower in order to survive in an globalized world it has reached a point when it is crucial to stand and develop as competitive and creative institution and dedicates itself to education and research as top priorities, play an active role in helping solve environmental problem, and strive to be ethical in the field of science and technology. The university opened with nine departments: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information and Technology, Communication Studies, Industrial Design, Business Management, Marketing, English and Japanese.
