Austral University (in Spanish, Universidad Austral) is a private university in Argentina, based in Buenos Aires and with seats in Pilar (Buenos Aires Province) and Rosario (Santa Fe). Since 2011, the university has begun a consolidation process where the Pilar Campus has become the primary seat. This project seeks to create and foster the local community by adding value to the city of Pilar and offering a unique learning environment for its students. Some postgraduate courses will still be offered in downtown Buenos Aires at the CAI. Universidad Austral is the first Argentine university to forge an agreement with Coursera, the world’s leading online education platform. This is ground-breaking partnership with an international leader that intends to offer quality education around the world. UA, renowned for its classroom higher education programs and its personalized, student-centered approach, seeks to expand its presence in online education. We are pursuing a scheme that integrates innovation and new technologies to the wealth of knowledge found in classrooms and in the one-on-one relationship among faculty and students. ACADEMIC OFFERINGS: There are 51 programs (1 pre-undergraduate program, 3 B.A. programs, 1 Teaching College program, 11 undergraduate programs, and 36 graduate programs).There is a team of 537 faculty in which there are full time and part time professors and researchers. Academic Units :IAE Business School, School of Business Sciences, School of Communications, Engineering School, Law School, School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Education, Institute for Family Sciences, Philosophy Institute are the different academic units present in the university.
