Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is one of the sixteen recently settled Central Universities The college is situated at the premises of Birla Institute of Technology,Patnation) and endeavoring to address their issues as well as can be expected. In compatibility of its goals and considering the rising needs of the general public, the University developed through various Programs as far back as its initiation in 2009. At first the college offered just postgraduate reviews, in different fields. It made a humble start by building up the Center for Development Studies under the School of Social Sciences and Policy and propelled a two-year Master of Arts in Development Studies in the scholarly year 2009-2010. In the accompanying Academic Year 2010-11, University propelled five more Masters Programs in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Mathematics and Statistics. Three more Masters Programs - Bioinformatics, Communication and Media Studies and Psychology - were included Academic Year 2011-12. In Academic Year 2012-13, seven new Masters Programs - Life Science, Economics, English, Hindi, Political Science and International Relations, Sociology and M.Tech. in Computer Science - were begun. The University has offered helpful condition, sufficient framework bolster and inventive instructional methods to support the understudies who have joined the University considering one of a kind attributes of its courses and teaching method .
