GaziosmanpaÅÂa University is a public university established in 1992 and primarily located in Tokat, Turkey. The university takes its name from the famous Turkish commander Gazi Osman Nuri Pasha, who was born in Tokat. Our misson is to educate individuals who have universal values, who are human, collective and respectful to nature, who will contribute to the sociocultural and economic development of the country, to produce solutions to national and international problems, to present the collections of the university to the service of humanity, and to become a leading and internationally renowned university in our country in education, research and practice is our vision.

GaziosmanpaÅÂa University, which is composed of Science and Literature Faculty, Niksar Vocational School, Tokat Vocational School, Zile Vocational School, Erbaa Institute of Science and Social Sciences Institute, formed its units as a university with the appointment of Rector on 11th NOV 1992. Teaching language is Turkish. The academic year at GaziosmanpaÅÂa University consists of two semesters.
