Glion Institute of Higher Education is a hospitality management school with two campuses in Switzerland and a campus in London, UK. The school offers bachelor's degrees in hospitality management or event, sport & entertainment management, an MSc and MBA with hybrid options, Online MBA and executive certificates. Summer programs and English programs are also offered on campus.Opened in the fall of 1962 in the former Bellevue Hotel, Glion was the first private, university-level Swiss hotel management school.The Bachelor Degrees in Hospitality Management, or Event, Sport and Entertainment Management are 3.5-year degree programs that educate students in operations, business administration, general education and include two internship semesters of industry training.The Postgraduate Diploma/Higher Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management offers operational and administrative management courses which are validated by a 6-month internship. The same postgraduate program structure exists for the Event, Sport and Entertainment track.
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Hospitality & Service Industries Management has two specializations: Leadership or Marketing. In March 2016, the Glion London campus moved to a new building named Downshire house, on the campus of the University of Roehamptom.On June 15, 2016 Eurazeo acquired Glion Institute of Higher Education (Glion) and Les Roches International School of Hotel Management (Les Roches) and their interests in affiliated campuses and partners.
