Of them, Wangcheng Campus was the former site of the Jingjiang Princes Mansion in the Ming Dynasty around 700 years ago. While it is not fully utilized as an academic campus anymore, it is a stunning location to visit where one can see a part of the rich, cultural heritage that continues to exist in Guilin today. It is also worth pointing out that Wangcheng Campus is considered to be one of the most beautiful campuses in China and is the only school campus in the country cited as a 5-A tourist spot. GXNU has worked together to set up 3 Confucius Institutes with the Prince of Songkla University in Thailand, the Malang National University in Indonesia, and the Hanoi University in Vietnam.
