Hunan Agricultural University (HUNAU) established in 1951 on the basis of mainly two colleges: the one is Agricultural College of Hunan University and the one Hunan Agricultural College. Hunan Agricultural University is a university of Hunan with a beautiful campus of 2.27 square kilometers, is situated in Furong District of Changsha.
Today, more than 50,000 students from 31 provinces study here, including 24,000 undergraduates, 26,000 adult-education students, 3000 masters and doctors. During the past fifty-five years, HUNAU has cultivated more than 100,000 elites for our society. There are many colleges associated with the Hunan Agricultural University like College of Agriculture, College of Animal Science and Technology, College of Biosafety Science and Technology, College of Bioscience and Biotechnology etc.,
Hunan Agricultural University offers 72 Bachelor Programs, 97 Master Programs including 42 Doctor Programs. HUNAU has been expanding its international exchanges continuously, and has set up close relation with more than ten countries. At present, HUNAU owes 1127 teachers, 1 engineering academician, 157 doctors’ tutors, 432 masters’ tutors, 234 professors and 515 association professors.
