Kwong Wah Hospital is one of the top treatment and research centers of Honk Kong from last 100 Years. This Hospital was founded by the Tung Wah Group. It facilitates full range of medical services to the population of West Kowloon and Wong Tai Sin. This is known as major acute teaching hospital, and also a Neurosurgical and Antenatal Diagnosis referral centre. The achievement of this hospital includes various clinical centers like Lai Kwok Wing Urology Centre, Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Centre and Chan Feng Men Ling Cardiac Centre. In the year 2003 this hospital played a major role in the SARS epidemic which made its way from Guangdong province to Hong Kong. Previously medical services offered by this hospital was free of cost for those who couldn’t afford it but now a day’s funding provided by a local merchant for those type of cases.
