Lateran University is a Roman Catholic pontifical institute, specializes in theological studies on marriage and families. University was established in 1981, in the Italy by Pope John Paul II. There are nearly 10 to 12 affiliated colleges around USA, Mexico, Australia, Spain and Philippines. University has been divided in to four disciplines, such as, Philosophy, Theology, Canon Law and Civil law. This university is an affiliated institution to Pontifical Lateran University, which was established in 1773. Research is also prominently conducted on topics of theology, Vatican council, foundation of sciences etc. Students from more than 105 countries, with a population of nearly 4000 members enrol every year. It has professors from 20 different countries, working as faculty in this university for both academics as well as research studies.
