Linnaeus University is one of the largest universities in Sweden. This university is providing major opportunities for participation in both regional and worldwide networks.  A stylized tree is the universitys logo. The origin of this logo has taken from Linnaeus drawing and his 1725 publication Örtabok. Here the tree is a symbol for the month of May and it will represent the power of growth. It also symbolizes the universitys ambition and its growth. There are around 34, 000 students and 15, 000 among them are fulltime students and the remaining are part time.
