The Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Center is a full-service treatment and research facility designed to provide cancer patients a location for all of their diagnostic and therapeutic needs and an integrated, collaborative environment for physicians and researchers. At Taussig Cancer Institute, more than 250 highly skilled doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals provide advanced cancer care to more than 14,000 patients with cancer each year. Taussig Cancer Institute in late 2010 to launch a new venture in North Carolina. The Taussig Cancer Center brings together scientists and clinicians to encourage the development of new therapies and to speed their application to patient care. Patient volumes, clinical research and physician recruitment under Dr. Bolwells watch are all on the upswing, despite hefty investments in cancer care by the Clinics chief rival, University Hospitals. A range of support programs are available to help patients navigate the changes and challenges associated with cancer.
