The University of Santiago de Compostela is a public university located in the city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain. With help of Cardinal Juan Alvarez de Toledo the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in 1555 started to get separate from strictly religious instruction and started to develop the academic fields including the science fields. This University has degrees in 19 faculties, University of Santiago de Compostela offers degrees in the Health Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Technical, and Humanities. The campuses are located in Lugo, Sur, Virtual, norte.
