Located in Bordeaux, France, the University of Bordeaux is considered as the largest network of higher education schools in the concerned part of the France. The university constitutes of six institutions which have distinct areas of study. It is originally an assembly of two universities and three technical schools. The two universities include the University of Bordeaux and Michel de Montaigne University. The three technical schools comprise of Bordeaux Polytechnic Institute, Bordeaux National School for Agriculture Engineering and the Bordeaux Political Studies Institute. The university is also associated with UPPA-the University of Pau and Pays de l’ Adour, which is a grouping of schools in the areas around Pau and the Adour River.
