University of Guam is a public land grant university which was established in the year 1952. The university was located in a village named Mangilao which was on the island of Guam in the Western Pacific Ocean. The University of Guam was accredited by the western association of schools and colleges.
The university offers 34 degree programs for undergraduate level and 11 master level programs. There are about 4000 students out of which 91% are from Asian Pacific Islander ethnicity. It contains an academic staff of about 180 members. The main mission of the university is “to enlighten, to discover and to serve.
