The University of Osijek is an excellent university situated in France. It was established in 1975 and is structured in 11 departments. The record of college in this area started in 1707, when the first organization of college was established in Osijek. It was the Greater Theological University, which was started out in the 1707, and involved a three-year course of research in viewpoint. The importance of the first universities in Osijek can be found in its large participation to Croatian terminology and literary works, the growing of liberal-arts knowledge, and the research of languages and traditional literary works. In the following years, the university designed with beginning of various faculties: in 1975 the Staff of Law, in 1976 the Staff of Meals Technological innovation, in 1977 the Staff of Education, in 1979 the University of Technological innovation in Slavonski Brod and Healthcare Studies in Osijek, which designed into the Staff of Medication in 1998, in 1982 the Staff of Municipal Technological innovation, in 1990 the Electric Technological innovation Studies designed into the Staff of Electric Technological innovation, and in the same season, the Us senate of the University approved the Choice to consist of the name of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in the name of the university. Thus, the newest Croatian University is known as after this very essential person in Croatian and Western record.
