The University of Rostock is located in the city of Rostock, Germany. It is an university with almost 600-year history. University of Rostock boast of 2,200 employees and 15,000 students. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schareck is the Rector of the University of Rostock. The University of Rostock is segregated into 9 academic faculties. They are: theology (Protestant); philosophy; mathematics and natural sciences; law; mechanical engineering and marine technology; agricultural and environmental sciences; medicine; economic and social sciences; computer science and electrical engineering.
