Importance of environmental health

Recognizing the critical relationship between the environment and public health is essential for formulating effective strategies to mitigate risks, promote healthier living, and ensure a sustainable future for all. Public health initiatives and policies must increasingly account for the environmental determinants of health to address the growing concerns of the modern world [7 ].

Economic implications: The economic consequences of neglecting environmental health are significant. Healthcare costs, lost productivity, and environmental restoration expenses can be substantial. Investing in environmental health can lead to long-term savings and a healthier, more productive population [8].

Key challenges in environmental health

Pollution: Pollution is a pressing global issue that has far-reaching consequences for both the environment and human health.
