Abstract

The interaction between chemical reactions and fluid dynamics plays a crucial role in various natural and industrial processes. Understanding the effect of chemical reactions on transient free convective flow past an infinite moving vertical cylinder provides valuable insights into the complexities of this phenomenon. This article discusses the influence of chemical reactions on heat and mass transfer, flow instabilities, species transport, and reaction kinetics in this flow configuration.
