Duquesne University of the holy spirit is a private catholic university located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US. This university was first founded by Fr. Joseph Studio on October1, 1878 along with the Holy Ghost fathers who were expelled from Germany. The College started with six faculty and 40 students. Initially, the classes where held in a rented space above bakery on wyile Avenue in Pittsburgh. Later in 1885, the university constructed its own main building, which was observed as the highest skyline in Pittsburgh at the point. Starting with 40 students, the current population has reached upto 10,000 students. As per the reports of US News and world report, the university is selected for the third time among the top 100 schools for best reputed school. It also finds its place in the 20 top reputed and financially most efficient schools.
